Mandy + Alexander

This was my first time spending an entire wedding day/evening along side this sweet couple. From the early morning onward, I could tell we were in for a treat at the gorgeous Manor House at Kings Charter in Mechanicsville, VA. The sun was out, the Fall air was crisp and the turning leave were all present to create the perfect setting for a Fall wedding. This was also the second time I was able to capture aerial video of the venue using our DJI drone and it sure delivered some stunning views from above.
But back to the couple… Mandy and Alexander were the sweetest. You could tell they were so excited during the getting ready build up and I hope I was able to capture this in their highlight reel. Their ceremony vows inspired me to design the flow of their highlight reel, telling their story as they read their vows to each other.
I also used a Canon 5D markIII to capture the getting ready. This allowed me to experiment with a more cinematic approach in my filming. Combined with a 24-105mm lens, it made for some stunning shots of the bride and groom as they got ready before the ceremony.
